United Kingdom, Feb. 26 -- Harry Styles got the giggles at his grandmother's funeral when The Beatles song The Long and Winding Road began to play as her coffin was heading to the furnace.

The 32-year-old pop star lost his grandma Beryl Styles in 2014 when she was 86, and Harry - who was 20 at the time - has confessed he couldn't stop himself from laughing inside the crematorium when the song began to play, despite it being such a sombre occasion.

Appearing on the Royal Court podcast, he said: "I remember being at my grandma's funeral, and as the belt started, it just went 'the long and winding road', and it made me laugh.
