United Kingdom, Sept. 4 -- DJ Trevor Nelson is returning to his BBC Radio 2 show, after revealing he has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The 62-year-old broadcaster announced in June that he would be taking a break from his work commitments due to "health issues", and he informed fans about his diagnosis last month.

Now, Trevor has confirmed he will be back on BBC Radio 2 on Monday (07.09.26) in his afternoon slot from 2-4pm, and he will also return his BBC Radio 1Xtra show from Sunday 13th September at 11am.

He said: "I will be slowly easing my way back on to the airwaves from Monday on Radio 2 and next Sunday on 1Xtra.

"I look forward to being with you all then."
