United Kingdom, March 5 -- Travis Kelce will miss being "in the heat of the battle" when he retires from the NFL.

The 36-year-old tight end - who is engaged to Taylor Swift - will see his two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs end later this month and while he hasn't yet made an announcement about his sporting future, he's already thinking about what he'll miss most when he eventually hangs up his boots.

Speaking to brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast, he said: "It's just those moments in the big games.

"The feeling of having to rise to the occasion, be there for 70,000 [people] that are all counting on you out there, outside of just the guys that you go to war with, the guys you go to battle with.
