United Kingdom, July 28 -- Tom Holland has praised his wife Zendaya's acting ability, insisting she "raises the game" in any production.

The married couple have starred alongside one another in several movies, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, and Tom says "every scene" is "better" if Zendaya is part of it.

He told E! News: "The truth is that she raises the game.

"She's the type of actress where every scene is better when she's in it.

"She raises the stakes for everyone."

Tom - who reprises his role as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in the forthcoming Marvel superhero film - feels "very lucky" to have appeared alongside his significant other in several projects.
