United Kingdom, Oct. 20 -- Tim Curry is "not scared" of death and believes he will "welcome it".

The 79-year-old actor faced his own mortality when he survived a stroke 13 years ago - which left him unable to walk and reliant on a team of carers - and The Rocky Horror Picture Show star admits he now doesn't fear the end of the life and may find it "comforting" to finally say goodbye.

During an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, Curry explained: "I don't fear death. I try to avoid it. I think we all do, but I suspect that in the end, I will welcome it. I think it may be very comforting to go bye-bye, and I want to earn it."
