United Kingdom, Oct. 19 -- The Beastmaster star Marc Singer has been rushed to hospital after suffering a terrifying health scare.

Paramedics rushed to the Los Angeles home of the 78-year-old actor - who also starred in 1980s TV series V - on Saturday (17.10.26) after he experienced an episode of severe pain and he was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Singer was kept under the care of doctors overnight and they ran a number of tests which all came back clear. He was expected to have been released on Sunday (18.10.26).

No further details have been given and Marc has yet to comment on the health scare.
