United Kingdom, Sept. 22 -- Teri Hatcher has warned her fans not to send any money to someone impersonating her online.

The Desperate Housewives star is due to be taking over from Vanessa Williams playing Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical in London, and has temporarily relocated to the capital while in the show.

Teri has long been a frequent social media user, and regularly shares messages and pictures with fans online, but her latest had a darker turn, after Teri was informed of a troll trying to swindle her fans.
