United Kingdom, July 5 -- Taylor Swift's wedding day was overshadowed by personal heartbreak after one of the singer's closest lifelong supporters died as she married NFL star Travis Kelce.

The singer and her NFL star partner Travis, both 36, tied the knot during a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday (03.07.26) night, bringing together hundreds of celebrity guests for one of the most closely watched showbusiness events of the year.

But the celebrations were also marked by the death of Kirk Schwabe, 69, a former teacher and bodyguard who had remained a trusted figure throughout Taylor's rise to global fame.
