United Kingdom, March 21 -- Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelorette contestants have been told their contracts remain in place.

Although ABC has announced the cancellation of the upcoming season, starring Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor, Warner Bros met with the entire male cast apart from the winner and told them "their contracts will be in place for a year".

A source told PEOPLE: "All of the men were on the call with Warner Bros. except for the winner. The lawyers told them all their contracts will be in place for a year."

ABC pays licensing fees to Warner Bros. TV Group to air the show.

Opportunities to appear on spin-off shows such as Bachelor in Paradise were also discussed.
