United Kingdom, Feb. 25 -- Sinitta has described her marriage to Andy Willner as a "revenge move" aimed at Simon Cowell.

Saying she entered the relationship while still carrying "unfinished business", the singer, 62, spoke about her decades-long on-off relationship with Simon, 66, during an appearance on the Suddenly Single podcast, years after she first met music mogul Simon at a London nightclub when she was a teenager in the early 1980s.

Reflecting on their connection, Sinitta said: "I was trying to make that relationship 'it'."

She added: "His narrative was just be patient, and you'll have everything you want.

"I assumed everything I wanted meant a normal family life with him. And then he met the love of his life and had a child. ...
