United Kingdom, Oct. 14 -- Simu Liu was "overwhelmed with emotion" at his wedding to Allison Hsu.

The Avengers: Doomsday actor married the digital marketing boss at Chateau d'Estoublon in Provence, France, earlier this month after four years together, and the couple have opened up about their "perfect" wedding day.

Simu, 37, told Vogue magazine: "I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect everything was.

"Our friends and guests looked absolutely beautiful, and then the moment Allison stood at the top of the aisle, I was overwhelmed with emotion looking at my life partner."

A particularly magical moment for the groom was seeing the sky clear after a day of on-and-off rain, which he believed was a sign from his late grandparents.
