United Kingdom, Aug. 16 -- Selena Gomez's lawyer has hit back at a lawsuit accusing the singer of wrongdoing over her mental health startup Wondermind.

The 34-year-old pop star and Only Murders in the Building star was sued alongside her mother and Wondermind co-founder Mandy Teefey, 50, former business partner Daniella Pierson, 31, and the company itself in Delaware federal court on Thursday (13.08.26), and her attorney has now branded the allegations "completely meritless" and promised to fight to have the claims dismissed.

The plaintiffs claim they were misled before investing nearly $1.2 million in Wondermind in 2022 and are seeking the return of their investments as well as damages, costs and attorneys' fees.
