United Kingdom, Aug. 2 -- Savannah Guthrie is "determined" to find out what happened to her mom so she and her family can say a "proper goodbye".

Nancy Guthrie has been missing since February, and after Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) made a fresh appeal for information by releasing the ransom notes - the second of which claimed the 84 year old had passed away - that were sent to the Today show host in the hope someone would recognise the handwriting, Savannah herself has issued a heartfelt plea for information.
