United Kingdom, June 28 -- Sara Cox is "not nervous" about hosting the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

The 51-year-old broadcaster - who has had the station's 4-7pm Teatime slot for the last six years - will present her first morning programme on 6 July and though she acknowledged her new job is "huge", she's very confident in her abilities to produce a great show.

She told the Sunday Times magazine: "It's huge but I'm ready.

"I might have to bury my phone in my neighbour's sandpit a couple of days before because I don't like people texting me good luck, but the minute I open my mic, I'll be fine. I'm not nervous because I know I can do a good job. I don't want to sound arrogant but I've been doing radio for 28 years now...
