United Kingdom, Sept. 7 -- Rory Kinnear is convinced the next actor to play 007 will be a surprise because the producers tend to pick someone who isn't "being talked about".

The 48-year-old actor played MI6 agent Bill Tanner in four Bond films - Quantum of Solace, Skyfall,, Spectre and No Time to Die - alongside Daniel Craig as Bond and the hunt is currently on for another star to take on the lead role after Craig walked away from the franchise.

However, Rory is convinced rumours swirling around actors such as Jacob Elordi, Callum Turner, Harris Dickinson and Jack Lowden are unlikely to be true. He told The Sunday Times newspaper: "It does tend to be people who aren't being talked about."
