United Kingdom, April 24 -- Rob Reiner's son Jake has described the "too impossible to process" moment he learned his parents had been murdered.

The director's devastated 34-year-old boy also wrote in a Substack published Friday (24.04.26) about the shock of discovering his brother was accused of carrying out the killings in December 2025, when his sister Romy Reiner, 28, informed him their mum and dad -When Harry Met Sally filmmaker Rob, 78, and his photographer wife Michele, 70 - had been found stabbed to death at their mansion in Brentwood, California.

Jake recounted travelling to the house in a taxi, describing the 45-minute journey "in a trance" as he tried to process what had happened.
