United Kingdom, Sept. 1 -- Rebecca Gayheart and her daughters are going through a "season of growth" following Eric Dane's death.

The Euphoria actor passed away in February after battling ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and though life has been "tough" since then, his widow insisted she and their girls, Billie, 16, and Georgia, 14, are "soldiering on" through their grief.

Rebecca, 55, told E! News: "It's really a season of growth for all of us. Life is hard for us right now. But we are getting through, and we are soldiering on.

I'm going to work, the girls are going to school. We're doing all the things."

Rebecca feels she and Eric instilled good values in their daughters from childhood.
