United Kingdom, Feb. 10 -- Ralf Schumacher has got engaged to Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne.

The former Formula 1 driver - who revealed he was in a same-sex relationship in July 2024 - and his partner have announced they are planning to get married, but declined to share any details about their plans.

In a joint Instagram post, in which Ralf and Etienne smiled and clinked their glasses, they wrote in both German and English: "We are pleased to confirm that Ralf Schumacher and his partner Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne will be getting married. Both are delighted by the many kind congratulations they have received.
