United Kingdom, March 22 -- Prince Harry is reportedly facing the prospect of losing a renewed bid for taxpayer-funded security in the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 44, have been seeking security provision through the Home Office following their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020 and relocate to North America.

Their publicly funded protection was removed after the move, and the issue has since been under review by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures.
