United Kingdom, May 1 -- King Charles has been hailed as "the greatest King" by President Donald Trump.

The US President made the remark as King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla wrapped up their four-day state visit to the US with a final goodbye to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the White House on Thursday (30.04.26).

Standing next to King Charles, Donald Trump said of the monarch: "He's a great king. The greatest king in my book."

As the royal couple's car pulled away from the White House, Trump added to reporters: "Really great people. We need more people like that in our country."
