United Kingdom, Feb. 2 -- Patsy Kensit has claimed she had a "secret affair" with Terence Stamp.

The 57-year-old actress has claimed she was 23 when she had a relationship with the Superman actor - who was 30 years her senior and died last year aged 87 - after first meeting through a mutual friend and then working together on 1991 thriller Prince of Shadows in Madrid, Spain.

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "We were star-crossed lovers and he was a total gentleman.

"Even though there was an age gap, we had a strong bond. He was an amazing and generous lover."

Patsy - who was married to Dan Donovan from 1988 to 1991 - was cast in the film first before recommending Terence for the role, and she described the romance as a "lost few ...
