United Kingdom, May 27 -- Paris Jackson has insisted her relationship with late dad Michael is "no one's business".

The 28-year-old star was just 11 years old when the Thriller hitmaker died in 2009, and she has reached a point where she doesn't feel an obligation to share their bond with the wider world.

Appearing on the Trying Not To Die podcast, she explained: "I'm now learning I can have my own personal relationship and I'm allowed to be private about it.

"I'm now like, my relationship is the most beautiful relationship ever...

"I'm in a very beautiful spot with my dad and I love that and it's no one's business and I don't have to share that with anybody.

"And there's a lot of freedom in that, which is really cool."
