United Kingdom, Oct. 12 -- Paris Hilton's dogs prepared her to be a mom to her children.
The 44-year-old media personality had many pooches - the first being Tinkerbell, a teacup Chihuahua that starred alongside her on The Simple Life reality TV series, and who died in 2015 at the age of 14 - before she and her husband, 44-year-old entrepreneur Carter Reum, welcomed their son Phoenix, two, and their daughter London, 23 months, into the world.
Paris - who currently has five dogs, the latest being a puppy called Princess Hilton - told People: "My dogs are my first babies before I had kids.
"They have brought so much happiness into my life, and they bring so much love to your life.
