United Kingdom, March 2 -- The original Scrubs cast felt old acting with people who were "freshly out of the womb" when the original show aired.

The beloved hospital sitcom returned last week for a revival with original stars Zach Braff, 50, Donald Faison, 51, and Sarah Chalke, 49, reprising their roles as John 'JD' Dorian, Christopher Turk and Elliot Reid, along with a group of younger characters starting out their careers at the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital.

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Donald quipped: "You really don't realise you're old until somebody reminds you of how old you are.
