United Kingdom, May 28 -- Olivia Rodrigo has blasted "disturbing" reactions to her wearing babydoll dresses on stage.

The 23-year-old singer wore a pink and white floral babydoll for a recent Spotify Billions Club performance, and she is "so upset" by the way people described the outfit as "childlike" and "inappropriate".

Speaking on The New York Times newspaper's Popcast, she said: "That's been making me so upset.

"Not even for me. People can say whatever they want. What's really disturbing is I have worn outfits that are maybe revealing on stage.

"I've been on stage in a sparkly bra and little shorts, which is my right, that's fun, I felt cool and comfortable in that.
