United Kingdom, Oct. 21 -- North by Northwest star Eva Marie Saint's cause of death has been revealed.

The Oscar-winner's representative, Jeff Sanderson, told Rolling Stone that she "died of natural causes surrounded by family and loved ones" at her home in Los Angeles on October 6 at the age of 102.

According to her death certificate, obtained by People, Eva passed away seconds after the onset of cardiopulmonary arrest, with senile dementia listed as a contributing cause, and hypertension, hyperthyroidism and embolism being other significant contributing conditions.

She is survived by her son, Darrell and daughter Laurette, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
