United Kingdom, April 26 -- Nicole Kidman hugs her daughters for two minutes every day.

The Oscar-winning actress has Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, with her ex-husband Keith Urban, and Nicole has revealed that she always makes sure to give her daughters a hug.

The 58-year-old star - who also has daughter Bella, 33, and son Connor, 31, with ex Tom Cruise - said at HISTORYTalks in Philadelphia: "Both my daughters will kill me for saying this, but I'm like, 'You need to hug [me] for two minutes a day'.

"It releases certain chemicals in the body and everyone needs to be hugged for about two minutes a day. Did you know that?"
