United Kingdom, Oct. 15 -- Nicolas Cage is fighting to save his Malibu house from a sinkhole.

The Spider-Noir actor - who bought the four-level oceanfront property for $10.5 million back in 2024 - hasn't been staying at the property because he largely resides in Nevada, but he's been kept busy since the driveway collapsed last month amid coastal erosion.

According to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, the 62-year-old star rushed to file three permits with city officials to fight against the damage, though the sinkhole has now expanded from 30 feet by 30 feet to the point where it has wrapped around the side of the house and up to the front door, swallowing up a fence, ladders and construction site temporary toilets.
