United Kingdom, June 8 -- Morgan Wallen has defended his decision to cancel his concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, just hours before he was due to go on.

The country star axed the Acrisure Stadium gig on Saturday night (06.06.26) because of bad weather.

However, fans were quick to criticise the Cowgirls singer, with many accusing him of making the decision too early.

Morgan responded in a video on his social media pages, as he said: "This morning, my team walked on the bus and told me they had been consulting with local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight.
