United Kingdom, June 27 -- Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel have helped pay off the medical debt of over 250,000 Americans.

The 43-year-old model and her Snapchat founder and CEO husband have shared a video online to assure Californians who may get a letter in the mail advising them that their bills have been erased that the notices are "real" after they teamed up with charity Undue Medical Debt to relieve over $550 million of costs.

Evan, 35, said in the Instagram video: "Hey everybody, Evan and Miranda here. And today we are so excited because we're announcing a partnership with Undue Medical Debt to relieve over half a billion dollars of unpaid medical debt for more than 250,000 Californians."
