United Kingdom, Aug. 25 -- Mindy Kaling's sitcom Not Suitable For Work has been cancelled after just one season.

The 47-year-old star created the Hulu comedy, which launched in June and ran for nine episodes focused on "five work-obsessed 20-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness".

Now, Variety has reported that Hulu won't be moving forward with a second season.

It's understood that Warner Bros. TV, which produces the comedy, are keen to shop the series to possible new homes.

Not Safe For Work starred Ella Hunt, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Jay Ellis as the group of pals, who lived in "Manhattan's most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill".
