United Kingdom, Sept. 29 -- Megan Thee Stallion is still "in shock" following her split from Klay Thompson.

The 31-year-old rapper and Klay, 36, announced their split in April, and Megan has now opened up about their break-up.

Asked about her heartbreak, Megan told Marie Claire: "I'm not pretending I'm 100 percent okay.

"I ain't never been through nothing like that in my whole life. I've never, ever, ever been in a relationship like that, ever. So I'm definitely not worried about another one for a long time."

Despite this, Megan acknowledged that she's still coming to terms with the loss.

She said: "It was so abrupt. I'm in shock still."

Megan explained that she's content being single at the moment.
