United Kingdom, July 25 -- Megan Moroney appreciates fans who recognise her without make-up.

The 28-year-old country music star often changes her hair style or gets a spray tan in an effort to lift her mood.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I think depending on the music, my style will obviously change over time.

"I've jokingly thought about dyeing my hair brunette, but I'm gonna save that for later down the road. For whatever reason, the blonde seems to be working."

Megan explained that her appearance often affects her mood.

She said: "Whenever I'm feeling sad, I either need a spray tan or I need to dye my hair blonder.
