United Kingdom, July 7 -- Mark Consuelos got a sign from his late dad at Mexico's World Cup game against England.

The 55-year-old star's father Saul Consuelos, who was Mexican, died in March aged 87 following a long illness, and so Mark and his brother decided to pay tribute to their dad's roots by travelling to the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City for the team's last-16 game against England, which the Three Lions won 3-2.

Speaking on Live with Kelly and Mark, he said: "My dad, he passed away in March, and he was such a Mexico fan, and he would be so happy.

"So my brother and I are like, 'Let's go make a pilgrimage, let's go see if we can try to make this game,' and we threw it together at the last second."
