The 45-year-old star first found fame as a child actor, and Macaulay has now revealed how he approaches his fan interactions.

The Hollywood star - who has Dakota, four, and Carson, three, with fiance Brenda Song - said on the SmartLess podcast: "I definitely have to gird myself . for, you know, outings and so forth. I just set certain ground rules for myself.

"Don't approach me when I'm at the dinner table. I don't like that. You know? Don't approach me when I'm with my kids. Definitely don't follow me to the bathroom."
