United Kingdom, Aug. 30 -- Liza Minnelli is "struggling to get any words out" following the death of Dolly Parton.

The Cabaret actress is devastated by the loss of the "truly supportive" country legend - who passed away on Tuesday (25.08.26) at the age of 80 following a brief battle with cancer - and she's reflected on how she'll miss their "spicy girl gossip" after decades of friendship.

Liza recalled how she and Dolly met through their shared former agent Sam Haskell, who also brought them together with singer Michael Feinstein.
