United Kingdom, Oct. 29 -- Liam Hemsworth waited for the "right moment" to propose to Gabriella Brooks.

The Witcher actor and Australian model announced their engagement on social media last month and Liam revealed that he took time away from his busy schedule on the Netflix show to pop the question.

The 35-year-old star told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: "We got engaged a few months ago whilst I was still shooting The Witcher.

"I've been shooting The Witcher now for the last two years. I didn't have a huge plan behind the engagement. I mean, I had enough of a plan to have bought the ring, but I was sort of just waiting for the right moment."
