United Kingdom, July 15 -- Lenny Kravitz wears leather pants to exercise in so that he can fit in a workout "anytime, anywhere".

The 62-year-old singer still has a physique men half his age would be jealous of, and can often be seen donning his trademark skintight leathers while working up a sweat.

In an interview with Men's Health Music + Muscle Issue, he explained his thinking, as he said: "I perform onstage in leather, denim, whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train. It also means I can fit in a workout anytime, anywhere."

When it comes to his leather trousers, he can also use them to see if he needs to lose or gain any weight.
