United Kingdom, July 6 -- The Descendants star Kylie Cantrall wants to "inspire the next generation of performers" with her role in the TV movies.

Kylie stars as Red, the daughter of Rita Ora's character Queen of Hearts, in the newest instalment in the franchise - Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

In an interview with People, the 21-year-old actress admitted she's long been a fan of the movies, which originally starred Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson as the children of the most iconic Disney villains.

Now the setting of the film has been moved on to a few years down the line, with Kylie saying she's hoping that her role will help inspire other young acting hopefuls.
