United Kingdom, Oct. 17 -- Kristin Davis "wasn't eating any real food" at the height of her Sex and the City success.

The 61-year-old actress played Charlotte York in Sex and the City, the hit HBO show, and Kristin admits that she became very self-conscious about her appearance as the series grew in popularity.

Speaking on her Are You a Charlotte? podcast, Kristin explained: "There was a time earlier in the show where you can see my ribs - like I had dieted. It was like later in the season, and it was one of those hot summers, and I just remember I just ate MandMs.

"I just ate MandMs like for a couple weeks. I don't know why I didn't lose my mind or whatever, and like I have no breasts left, like it's just like bones.
