United Kingdom, Sept. 18 -- Kim Kardashian is suffering from a health condition affecting the same part of the body where her late dad Robert Kardashian developed cancer.

The 45-year-old media personality shared in the season eight trailer for The Kardashians that she has "something called esophagitis", an inflammation of the esophagus, the muscular tube that moves food and liquid from the throat to the stomach.

The severity of her condition has not revealed, but she was seen crying in one clip.

Kim appears in a hospital bed wearing a gown in another clip, as someone off-camera asked: "Didn't your father... isn't it what he died of?".
