United Kingdom, July 17 -- Kim Kardashian has addressed confusion after she shared vacation photos shortly after it was revealed her grandmother had passed away.

The Skims founder came under fire after sharing an Instagram carousel of her family's getaway captioned "Lake life" on Thursday (16.07.26), around the same time as her mother Kris Jenner announced Mary Jo Shannon, aka MJ, had died at the age of 91.

Returning to her post to respond to the criticism and confusion, Kim confirmed it had been scheduled for some time and she had spent the previous few days with Kris and MJ.
