United Kingdom, April 2 -- Kelly Ripa has joked she has her own "chastity belt" to stop evening sex with her husband Mark Consuelos.

The 55-year-old talk show host simply has to pop in her retainer and Mark, 55, knows there is no way he is going to have some bedtime fun that evening.

During a conversation about the mating habits of koalas on their Live with Kelly and Mark talk show, he said: "When they're mating, the koala goes in there and says, 'Hey, I'm Mr. Koala, nice to meet you, Ms. Koala.'

"Sometimes they're not interested.

"Instead of being heartbroken, they go back to sleep."
