United Kingdom, July 26 -- Kelly Clarkson is "so glad" to be single.

The Breakaway hitmaker split from husband Brandon Blackstock - who died of cancer last year - in June 2020 after almost seven years of marriage and she admitted she is thankful she doesn't have to deal with relationship drama in her home.

Speaking on stage at her Caesar's Palace residency in Las Vegas on Friday (24.07.26), E! News reports she said: "People are like, 'Oh, why are you single?' And I'm like, 'First of all, there are a lot of people out here making single look real good.'

"And if you didn't really understand what I meant by that, it's like you see relationships and you're like, 'I am so glad I'm going home alone.'
