United Kingdom, Aug. 7 -- Katey Sagal had another baby at the age of 52 after initially warning her younger husband she had "five minutes left" to have children.

The actress, now 72, welcomed her daughter Esme with her husband, Kurt Sutter, via surrogate in 2007, after telling the screenwriter-and-director, now 66, that she could not wait too long for him to decide whether he wanted children because of her age and declining fertility.

On the latest episode of 78-year-old Ted Danson's Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, she said: "I had a child at 52 through a surrogate, but I became a mother again at 52.
