United Kingdom, Aug. 7 -- Graham Campbell thinks Kaia Gerber is a "real artist".

The actor stars alongside Kaia, 24, in The Shards, the new teen thriller series, and Graham has heaped praise on his co-star.

Graham, 24, told People: "Kaia has a wild intelligence that I think the world knows quite a bit about, especially through her work with her company Library Science [Kaia's book club].

"But she's incredibly intelligent, and she's incredibly empathetic."

Graham recalled being wowed by Kaia the first time they met.

The actor explained: "The nature of this reading that I met her at was really indicative of that. I was like, 'That is a real artist, a person with a real artist's soul.' I think the world will see that in [the show]."
