United Kingdom, Oct. 1 -- Josh Hartnett's children have "never" seen any of his work.

The Verity actor - who has four kids aged between 11 and two with wife Tamsin Egerton - thinks it is "healthy" that his brood are not particularly interested in his work.

He told E! News: "My kids have never seen me in anything.

"I like it that way. I think it's healthy."

The 48-year-old actor noted many of his films haven't been made for a younger audience but acknowledged his children might be interested "at some point", though for now, he's happy being "just dad".

He said: "I know some of their friends have seen me in movies, but [my kids] haven't shown that much interest.

"They're like, 'It's daddy's work.' But they're just living their lives a...
