United Kingdom, Nov. 4 -- Jonathan Bailey signed up for "nine different courses" at an online university but failed to finish and got "expelled".

The Wicked star, 37, has revealed he was keen to continue learning and enrolled in a number of courses via the Open University - an online study program - but he failed to finish several of them and it lead to him being booted from the institution.

He told PEOPLE: "I didn't finish Open University, where you study from home. I signed up for about nine different courses, not realizing if you didn't finish them, you get expelled.

"So I didn't finish my volcanoes and tsunami course, or my Leonardo da Vinci course. I did finish my music course, but just at that point, I got expelled. Hopefully tha...
