United Kingdom, July 14 -- JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes "don't speak about" being trolled.

The 23-year-old singer - who has been romancing the 33-year-old star since they met on UK reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother last year - felt good when she recently read an article in which her boyfriend praised the way she handles online criticism because they prefer to focus on the positives with one another.

She told Us Weekly magazine: "He's always very supportive, and I actually just read that same article.

"I saw the comments online, but then I saw him speak to someone over in the UK and he really praised how I handle [criticism].

"It's interesting because there's sort of an element to our relationship where we actually don't speak about ...
