United Kingdom, Oct. 5 -- John Cena believes his charity work would suffer if he had children.

The Matchbox: The Movie actor has always spoken openly about the fact he doesn't want to start a family, and he's explained that if he and wife Shay Shariatzadeh did have kids, they would take him away from his other commitments.

Noting that from 2002 to 2015 he was only home "about 15 days a year and even now it's maybe 70", he added to The Guardian newspaper: "If I said yes to children, I have to say no to everything else."

And referring to the fact he has granted more than 650 Make-A-Wish wishes for the charity, he added: "I really enjoy my life.

"If I have a family of my own, I don't have those 650 moments . I'm flying with just my partn...
